New Longer Acting Zyprexa Approved
Eli Lilly sent out a press release today stating that a new longer lasting version of their drug Zyprexa (olanzapine) was approved today by the FDA. Zyprexa is currently used to treat schizophrenia in adults.
With the new longer lasting version, a single injection lasts up to four weeks. According to Health Day,
Clinical studies involving 2,054 people found Zyprexa Relprevv effective in managing symptoms of schizophrenia, including hallucinations, delusions, apathy and social withdrawal.

Lilly needs to resolve issues with the Zyprexa original formula.
Eli Lilly sells a drug (Zyprexa) that can cause diabetes and then turn a profit on the drugs that treat the condition that they may have caused in the first place!
Eli Lilly has made $38 billion on Zyprexa and it was way oversold and caused diabetes and in some cases sudden death.
